In theory, research findings shape policy, which in turn dictates assessment and school improvement guidelines as well as teacher education requirements.

We are invested in presenting current school climate research as well as furthering research in this area.

Did you know...

Educators have recognized the importance of school climate for a hundred years (Perry, 1908). However, it was not until the 1950’s that educators began to systemically study school climate. The development of scientifically sound school climate assessment tools spurred a research tradition that grows to this day.
